MONTE CALVARINA
VINEYARD

01

Located in the eastern part of the Soave area, the Monte Calvarina vineyard lies on the volcanic hills that inspired the Hey French project. Reaching about 500 metres above sea level at its highest point and facing south-west, it covers vineyards aged between 20 and 30 years. The soil is basaltic-calcareous, a composition that favours the production of wines with marked minerality and distinctive character.

The altitude ensures cool, breezy summers and significant temperature variations, promoting the optimal accumulation of noble substances in the grapes and enhancing their aromatic complexity. The varieties cultivated are Garganega, Pinot Blanc, and Sauvignon.

SAN FELICE
VINEYARD

02

Planted in 1993, the San Felice vineyard extends over the area around the company’s headquarters, north-east of Verona, within the Valpantena vineyard area.

These are vineyards with clay-limestone soil of alluvial origin where the Corvina, Rondinella, Croatina, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot varieties are grown.

MIZZOLE
VINEYARD

03

Planted in various stages between 1980 and 1990, it is located in the eastern part of Valpantena, in the hamlet of Mizzole, which is crossed by the waters of the Fibbio stream. The valley is made up of numerous mountain indentations and an alternation of hills and plains that make it very suitable for the cultivation of vines.

The grape varieties cultivated are Corvina, Rondinella, Oseleta, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot.

MONTEVEGRO
VINEYARD

04

Montevegro, the vineyard that gives life to the ‘Mai dire Mai’ Amarone, Valpolicella and Fear No Dark, has characteristics that are virtually perfect for the generation of high quality wines. A hill at 350 meters a.s.l. with exposure on all sides, it faces the Val d’Illasi and the Val di Mezzane with the Lessini range at its back and soil that is basaltic and calcareous in origin to guarantee an optimal mineral content.

POIANO
VINEYARD

05

This is a vineyard planted in 2001, located in the western part at the beginning of Eastern Valpolicella, near the San Felice winery.

Corvina, Rondinella, Croatina and Corvinone grape varietals are grown in this clay-limestone soil.

CASCINA
S. VINCENZO

06

The vineyard of about 4 hectares is located on the same ridge as Mizzole, about 8 km north and at an altitude of 350 metres above sea level, at the entrance to the Valpantena. These are native vines of about 20 years old that have always been grown organically.

The soil is clay-limestone, typical for the Valpolicella area. The clayey part depends on the transformation of the rocks in this area where the clay retains the minerals, making them available for the plant. The soil mixture is the best combination to give rise to products of great elegance and finesse. The grape varieties cultivated are Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella.
